The Confederation Trail was developed on over 300 kilometres of abandoned railway lines and takes you through hardwood groves, into quaint villages and wetlands, and along sparking rivers. Prince Edward Island's tip-to-tip trail offers unlimited opportunities for nature lovers, artists, historians, photographers, berry pickers, bird watchers and anyone looking for a nice quiet place to spread a blanket for an afternoon picnic. Your guided tour begins in the small village of Morell and travels seven miles along St. Peter's Bay before arriving at your final destination, the community of St. Peters.

Montgomery's first novel, Anne of Green Gables, published in 1908. A must stop will be at Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, located in one of Canada's prettiest villages. The company uses locally grown fruit to make delicious jams and marmalades.
