BIKING THE CONFEDERATION TRAIL

The Confederation Trail was developed on over 300 kilometres of abandoned railway lines and takes you through hardwood groves, into quaint villages and wetlands, and along sparking rivers. Prince Edward Island's tip-to-tip trail offers unlimited opportunities for nature lovers, artists, historians, photographers, berry pickers, bird watchers and anyone looking for a nice quiet place to spread a blanket for an afternoon picnic. Your guided tour begins in the small village of Morell and travels seven miles along St. Peter's Bay before arriving at your final destination, the community of St. Peters.
Duration: 4 hours

View rolling farmlands, stunning seascapes, tiny villages and bustling harbors along the Blue Heron Drive as we get ready to tour the North Shore area. Brief photo stops at quaint little fishing villages, lighthouses and the world class Cavendish Beach. Tour on your own at Green Gables House. This old farm site was inspired by L.M. Montgomery's first novel, Anne of Green Gables, published in 1908. A must stop will be at Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, located in one of Canada's prettiest villages. The company uses locally grown fruit to make delicious jams and marmalades.

Come reel in the fun on the beautiful Gulf of St. Lawrence. Head out on the high sea as your experience captain guides you on a quest for the big one! Your catch is cleaned, filleted and packaged for you! Rods, reels, bait, life-jackets, rain gear and fishing licence are included. Anchor's away!

NATURE AND SEAL CRUISE

The Island's Best Kept Secret! Take a cruise on the beautiful Montague heritage river, a great activity rain or shine! Boats are fully equipped for comfort and safety with washrooms, full canopy and clear-view roll down sides. Visit harbour seals, playful pups and huge grey seals from under the watchful eyes of native sea birds. Be on the lookout for eagles and mussel farms as you cruise past historic sites on this fully narrated tour, complete with traditional recorded music. Watch the crew haul in real lobster traps as you learn about the local fishery and natural habitat. Enjoy complimentary famous Blue Mussels served with refreshments!
